Our Co-Chair, Angelos Pastras, attended COP30 in Belem, Brazil.

He spoke at a total of 11 events, including 3 official UNFCCC side-events, advocating for youth inclusion and a just energy transition.

From November 10-21, he engaged in panels and discussions addressing what matters most for our shared energy future:

🔴 Raising ambitions for faster implementation – Drawing on DNV's latest Energy Transition Outlook, the science is clear: we're on a path to 2.2°C warming without a dramatic acceleration in deployment. The transition is "rolling on," but it's not rolling fast enough.

🟢 Championing a Just and Inclusive Energy Transition – This isn't just about renewable capacity; it's about people. From the Global Renewables Alliance to grassroots mobilisation at the SDG Pavilion, we must ensure that local communities lead this transition, not lag behind it.

🔵 Building bridges across sectors – The energy transition can't happen in silos. Whether it's with governments, private sector innovators, or civil society leaders, we need transparent collaboration and cross-sector partnerships that actually deliver results.

⭐ Amplifying youth leadership – Some of the most powerful voices for change are from young people already leading in this space. They're not waiting for permission—they're building solutions. Let's listen and scale their impact.
